Rebuked by their children

June 27, 2010

Joan, Charles, Membo, and Dian asked their parents if they knew about Jesus, and why they hadn’t told them about him.

Parents: “Yes’, we know about Jesus, but we could not be bothered with him.”

Charles: “But mum, how could you not have told us about Jesus? He loves and cares so much! He doesn’t make us do bad things to people.”

Mum: “The bad angel gives us everything we ever wanted and that’s what matters!”

Membo: “But mummy, he’s a bad man and we don’t want to have anything to do with him; and neither should you and dad.”

Joan: “Mum and dad, we would like you to love Jesus. He’s good and will not make you do bad things. He will even give you eternal life! Are the worldly things more important than the eternal things? Are not earthly things temporary? Then, why choose the temporary above that which is eternal?”

Sue and Brian were not happy with their children’s decision, not knowing what might follow. One thing was certain—Brian and Sue were not aware that the wicked angel did not give things to anyone without a price. His price was getting the souls of men and women. Joan, Charles, Membo, and Dian were allowed to watch horror and witchcraft programs and read books on witchcraft. But neither they nor their parents knew of their dangers.

Angels sounded, graves opened

May 18, 2010

Young people are minding their own business. Suddenly, they heard the noise of trumpets sounding. In fact, the trumpets sounded so loudly that all the children and their parents went outside to see where the sound was coming from.

All of a sudden, the earth shook violently and the graves opened. At the last trumpet sound the boys, girls, mums, and dads awoke from their graves. They went up and up to meet their king.

Young people and their parents talked about the strange happenings. Unknown to them, they were being beamed upward; meeting those who had just gone up. They journeyed a long way before they reached their destination. When they arrived at their destination, the gates refused to open. Instead, the gates spoke.
